In general, asmall UV printer uses a damper which is a device to control ink pressure by atmospheric pressure. However, the other industrial UV printers use a negative pressure control system which controls the ink pressure by an electric pressure motor so that it allows keeping ink level in the ink tank.
Just in case, the damper works as filter so it is a kind of consumables, working as a last chance filter too so It should be changed to a new one regularly every 6months at least, a damper for white ink must be changed every 3months at least.
It is a CLEANING STATION which is composed of a wiper for wiping on the nozzle of printhead, a cap for ink pad and a motor for sucking in ink to a garbage ink bottle. The capping station is different from each models
